A little about me…
Divorce is personal. I have lived it myself, and that experience is part of why I do this work.
I am a retired U.S. Navy Commander and Naval Aviator with 28 years of service. I went through my own divorce while in uniform, which means I understand the financial and personal pressures of military life from the inside, not from a manual. That perspective shapes how I approach every client I work with, military or civilian.
As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) with over 25 years of financial advisory experience, my job is to make sure you understand the full financial picture of your settlement before anything is finalized. What assets are actually worth. How retirement accounts should be divided. What the tax consequences of different options look like. What you will be living with five and ten years from now if you agree to certain terms today. These are the questions I am here to answer.
I work with individuals in contested divorces, couples pursuing an amicable split, and military service members and their spouses. I have lived in Maine, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, California, Washington, and Hawaii, which gives me a practical understanding of the financial and lifestyle considerations clients across the country face. I serve clients anywhere in the United States and internationally, entirely by phone and video.
My goal is straightforward. I want you to know how your choices will affect you in the short and long term, so there are no surprises down the road. You came to the right place.
